Diwali

This week we have been learning about Diwali.  There are some people in Room 9 who celebrate this, and they told us a little bit about the celebration.

Today we had a mufti day, where we dressed up in clothes from our culture.  We had an assembly where people performed and shared information about Diwali.  Some members of Room 9 shared their Bollywood dance.

Gymnastics

We had gymnastics today at Bruce Pullman Park. It was so much fun, we did some work on the mats then we moved around the rotation and practiced some basic gymnastic skills. Folk Dancing Performance

Today we did a folk dancing performance in the hall.  All of the classes in the Piwakawaka team performed a folk dance.  It was really fun!

Adheesh and Julia even got to share some of the dance they learnt in their club, Bollywood dancing! They did a great job...
