End of term 1!

The last day of Term 1 was an exciting but sad day! It was sad because it was the last day for four of our wonderful class members! Lisa, Jack, Lockyer and Isobel are off to become a part of Room 2 with Mrs Vause-Novak...It will be so cool for them to be part of another class but we might miss them a little bit. They have promised to come and visit us though!

As a special treat for all the hard work we have done this term, we did some baking with Miss Macdonald and Lisa's mum Michelle. We helped to make the mixture, then rolled out the dough and used a cookie cutter to make either a bunny or a gingerbread man!

When they were finished baking we iced them and decorated them with pebbles! They were delicious! A big thank you to Michelle for all of her help!

Cross Country!

We have been training so hard and yesterday we had our Cross Country day. We all tried so hard and Miss Macdonald was very proud of us.

A special congratulations to the people from Room 9 who came in the top 10.

From the year 1 girls, Lisa came 1st, Lockyer came 2nd, Brooke came 3rd, Monique came 5th and Ya-Wen came 9th.

From the year 1 boys, Matthew came first, Gason came 3rd, Anmol came 4th, Ronan came 6th and Aidan came 7th.
